Every guest is quoted individually — length, added hair and the time it takes all change the price. Send a request and Chinky will tell you exactly what your service costs before you book. And if you do not see what you are looking for, just ask — she will tell you whether she does it.

Meet Chinky
One pair of hands, and a chair that is all yours.
The Beauty Experience is Chinky’s studio in the Philadelphia area. She does acrylic nails and natural hair for men and women, plus blow outs, locs, twists, braids and sew-in weave extensions — so whether you want a fresh set, a silk press or braids that last the month, it happens here. She waxes too: brows, lip, chin and arms or legs.
Appointments are one guest at a time. You get the chair, the time and a stylist who listens to what you actually want before she starts.
The business is growing. Chinky is expanding and making real improvements to what The Beauty Experience offers, and this site grows with it — new services, new work and new photos as they come.

Pick the service, the day and the time that suit you, and add a note or an inspiration photo. It takes a minute.

Chinky texts you back
She confirms your slot, tells you what to bring, and quotes your service — every set is priced per guest.

Come through and relax
Bring your hair if you are adding any. Sit back, and leave with something you are happy to show off.

The Beauty Experience is not a women-only room. Come in for your hair, your nails, or both. It is one guest at a time in a private studio, so there is no audience and no fuss — just clean, careful work and a chair that is yours for the appointment.
Natural hair care
- Wash and condition, with proper scalp care
- Blow out and style — pressed smooth or left natural
- A trim when you need one
- Locs retwisted and styled
- Two-strand twists
- Braids and cornrows, including feed-in
Nails & manicures
- A proper manicure — nails shaped, cuticles cared for, hands tidied up
- A pedicure with the same care
- Gel polish or regular polish
- A polish change when you just want a refresh
- Acrylic, color acrylic, dip powder, builder gel and poly gel if you want length or strength
- Nail art — one clean accent, or something more if you like
Waxing
- Eyebrow waxing, shaped and tidied

- Arm or leg waxing, if you want it smooth
